BANGALORE RACE TIPS 12/7/14

The Pre-Derby day is here. It is an exciting card of 8 races and will be a real challenge to pick good ones in this extremely competitive sets. Hope one and all return with good profits. My selections go like this:

Race No 1 -

1 - WHIMSICAL - The most suitable horse in this set over this distance with the in-form jockey.
7 - TANGANYIKA - Down in class. Last run was not bad. Good trainer-jockey combination.

Race No 2 -

9 - MY LAKSHMI - Good win last time. Suitable distance and good jockey to ride all the way.
3 - IRISH SONG -Ran away easily from the field but facing a tougher opposition now.

Race No 3 -

6 - LAURITA - Last run came in late to finish on. Trip extended may help.
1 - CORIOLIS - Lost badly as a favourite. Still will again be fancied and can do better this time.

Race No 4 -

2 - BARACCHUS - Good chance in this competitive set with BLK ON.
4 - MERION - Another failed favourite with a good chance to redeem the loss. Keep an eye.

Race No 5 -

4 - CHAMPAKALI - This speedy one can surprise all if rider does justice to his mount.
1 - PIPPIN - Ran all over the place to end third. In with a good jockey.

Race No 6 -

9 - BULLSEYE - Last run makes him the default contender. But distance doubtful.
10 - GENTLE KNOWLEDGE - Forward run last time, almost won. Good chance here.

Race No 7 -

11 - FRANKNESS - Shot like an arrow last time. Easily the best here.
5 - FRENEMEE - Form has been doubtful but can do well if tried.

Race No 8 -

9 - KINGSTON TOWN - Well placed on scales and in with an excellent chance.
7 - SANTA ANA - Just got beat at the post last time. Will fight again.
